Half Time

By Bob Buford

Bob Buford couldn’t have known what would happen over the next two decades when he wrote his now classic book, Halftime. Over the past twenty

years it and the Halftime Institute has, in effect, created a movement, one that is enriching the lives of those who are living out the promise of Halftime, and those who they serve.

In some ways, The Halftime message is even more important today than it was in 1995 when the book was first published, and here’s why: You are probably going to live a whole adult lifetime that wasn’t available to your parents and grandparents. Most people are unprepared and they are searching for meaning in mid-life. Halftime-the book and the Institute offer guidance and a practical road map to move from success to significance. Buford carefully lays out the case for why we can do even greater things in the second half of our lives, but also gives

a step by step plan to follow that includes: Finding the Center and Staying There Staying in the Game but Adjusting the Plan"It may have taken you twenty years or more to get to halftime. Don’t expect to solve all your first-half issues and plan for the second half in a few hours. For most people, halftime spreads out over several months, even years. But it will never happen if we don’t give it the time it It’s been proven over and over again that the world changes when high impact people get to the end of Life I, and then figure out what they can do in Life II that will help them finish well while building a legacy that will last far beyond the end of Life II on this To learn more, please visit http://halftimeinstitute.org/
